Flambe Banana Bread
Susan gave me a link for some banana bread. She said she'd made it and it was wonderful. She thought I should try it. And of course, I did. I do believe this is one of the best banana bread recipes I've ever made and there's the added bonus of getting to light the bananas on fire.
The bread is very good. Great flavor and very moist. The pecans are sugared prior to adding them to the batter, but the next time I make it I'll chop the pecans rather than adding them as halves. The large nuts make cutting slices rather difficult.

Mmmm, I just love anything with butter in!! Your bread looks lovely! I've just seen your mom's bag, I did one very similar, but I love the way you attached the handles. Mine went a bit messy. Same colour as yours though! Red is a definitely great present colour.
