A Lovely Sunday

It was actually a lovely weekend. I worked at the yarn store on Saturday and did some reorganizing - I actually made a huge mess, but I did clean it up before the end of the day. Travis went to a party in Lander (where his parents live), but I couldn't go because I had to work. So, Saturday night I stayed up late and finished the first Spey Valley sock and started Fetching. Sunday morning Riley and I were bums and I sat at the table, drank my tea, read a book, and worked on Fetching (and I did some laundry too - so I guess I wasn't a total bum).

Before we left for flyball I got the first glove done and then last night I started the second one.

I love that these are turning out to be a quick knit and they'll be perfect for fall in Wyoming. I can't wait to finish these and show you.

Oh I love that colour! I have made a couple pair of these as gifts, I need a pair for myself now!

Oh - those are pretty in red. That does sound like a wonderful Sunday - I advocate bumming whenever possible :)

I love the color! And did you know that Susan is working on revising the pattern to make the second glove a mirror image? If you haven't gone too far you might be able to incorporate her changes.

It seems everyone is making these lately, and I'm not exception. I just haven't actually started them yet. Yours are very nice. You do know you're going to have to reveal what yarn you're using, right?

I've been tepted by Fetching myself. I have a stash of fun colored Cacade, or I've got a few different luxury yarns in just enough...

Sounds like a nice weekend! Mine was crazy, LOL!

I have to jump on the bandwagon and make these pretty soon - it's getting cold around here!

Hope flyball was fun! The local club had a practice at our place this weekend - they always sound like they are having a blast!

It must be something in the air (the chill perhaps?)! I made these too this weekend...

Very nice! Now I'm tempted to make a pair for myself. What yarn are you using? Drinking tea, knitting, and reading sound like perfect weekend activities...I wish my weekend was like that!

I'm just laughing at myself . . . I saw that first picture and immediately started trying to read the book! Your Fetching looks . . . fetching! (So much so, that Chappy's getting all excited and, since they have nothing to do with ball-throwing says to tell you that he feels slightly cheated, even if they are pretty.)

I was sent to your site by Corgimom over at the Knitting Corgis blog because I too have a knitting blog that features my corgi, and his name is.. Riley! How funny! Strangely enough, I have made a couple pairs of "Fetching" gloves (and I'm about to start my third pair). Weird, right?

Thought you'd like to know I'm linking to your blog on mine, cuz it's just too entertaining. Mine's http://yarnchronicles.blogspot.com if you'd like to check it out.
