What Ya Been Up To?
I guess I've been busy, well, I know I have. But I've been busy finishing things up and so I don't have anything to show you, or even tell you. Clapotis is done, but I still have 8 or 10 stitches to drop (that takes forever), ends to weave in, and then it needs blocked. I'm waiting on yarn from Purly (it should arrive tomorrow or Thursday) for my new sweater project and I'm working on finishing a project I'll tell you about next week (it's a secret for now though).
I received a lovely package from Jacqueline on Saturday

Jacqueline picked up some KA Bamboo dpns for me to try and sent some gorgeous lace weight along just for fun. I love the grays and purples in the yarn and may have to use it for an Amazing Lace project. Thanks Jacqueline.
Tomorrow I'll show you the yummy sampler pack of roving I got from Spunky Eclectic - gorgeous colors. Maybe they'll motivate me to get spinning. I've been neglecting that lately.

I'm thinking of finishing up a bunch of little things too after I get done with these socks I'm making, then the University Scarf.
I'm very excited, I just found blocking wires at Knit PIcks. Maybe it's time to use up some of my laceweight yarn in stash.

What a nice package from Jacqueline!
Are you planning to block your entire Clapotis? Or just parts of it? I didn't block either of mine because I heard that it takes away the ripples. But I know some people like it better blocked.

Now that Snow has got me hooked on lace I just had to join the Amazing Lace! Any ideas who your teammate will be?
I hope you'll post your thoughts on the KA needles once you've had a chance to break them in...

Can't wait to see your "clap", they still seem to amaze me. I'm really going to have to bite the bullet and whip one up:0)

Good to hear from you again! That yarn is beautiful, it would make a beautiful shawl or lace scarf.
