One Of These Days

I know it. One of these days the world is going to right itself, my life will get back to normal, things will slow down to a reasonable pace, and I'll have time to knit and blog. I just know it. Anyone have any ideas on the scientific basis for the world righting itself?

Anyway. Yesterday was mostly productive. I worked on my skirt (which I didn't get done), went to the bank and signed the papers for the car loan (yipes), spun some more, and went to karate. Oh, and look what came in the mail

Sock yarn from Sundara Yarn! Gifts from Grumperina as a very generous prize for guessing the correct finish date on her grandmother's shawl. My fingers are itching to start some socks with this yummy yarn (which is unbelievably soft), but I must behave myself and finish my Sockapaloooza socks first. I must. I figure if I tell myself that enough I'll believe it. And I have you guys to keep in line. Right?

The yarn looks yummy! What are your plans for it? I decided to end my yarn diet and just bought two skeins of sock yarn from Purly.
I hope things settle down soon. Hang in there!

Right, we're going to keep you in line! Ha! So funny! Knit the red socks, the red socks! I want to see the red socks! :-D Aw, ok, you need to finish the Sockapaloooza socks first. But there's lots of time left to get those done. LOTS of time!

I'm so happy you like the yarn! The fabric is really nice when it knits up, so you have that to look forward to and keep you motivated to finish other projects :).

Mail call mail call! I love yarn in the mail it is so much better than bills. Congrats on the new car - new cars are fun. When the world rights itself and we can do more knitting and blogging, let me know so I don't miss it!

The yarn looks great. So soft moving through the hands. I feel the same way about my sock pal socks - gotta work on them. Focus.

Knit the blue one!!! Embrace the chaos! Murphy's Law states that the second you do, everything will slow down and become boring and predictable. So sayeth Mr. Gadget.

I can't look at one more on-line dyer. I won't, don't make me....NOOOOOOOO!!!!

Oh i'm not good at keeping anyone in line, especially when it comes to knitting. BUt your much more motivated and focused then I am, so I'm sure you'll be good. And if not, shhhh I won't tell anyone.

I'm so glad you like the yarn! Kathy and I thought those colors would best suit your taste!

I'm going to be the voice of dissent and say to just finish the sock pal socks first. You'll be done with them in no time, and then you can enjoy this yarn guilt- and pressure-free.
