Not Much Progress
I haven't made as much progress on my sock as I had hoped. Last night was karate. (Remind me never to take 2 weeks off again. I'm so freakin' sore I can barely lift my arms and my hand is swollen from punching. Not good). Karate night means that I didn't get much knitting time. I did get the heel stitches picked up and started the gusset, but I really wanted to finish the sock today so I could start on the Nordic mittens this weekend.

Even with a large chunk of time tonight I seriously doubt I can get the whole foot knit. Maybe tomorrow. I should have some good knitting time. The satelite tv installer is coming tomorrow (yes, we're finally entering the 21st century - we'll have more than 5 channels) somewhere between 8 and noon - I should be able to knit while I'm waiting for him. I know I should be working on Ombre, but I need a commuting project for next week and I won't have time during the week to figure out the whole 2-handed knitting thing. So, that's my justification.
It's finally Friday. Have a good weekend.

Two weeks off from karate? Try 2 and a half months! I've got to get off my butt now so I can be somewhat fit before I start training next month. Have a good weekend!

Enjoy your knitting time. I blew off the gym (not good!) in order to knit last night...I just needed knitting more than ab work. I'll pay tomorrow.

Hey, you'll be able to watch Arrested Development now! Or at least the 5 more episodes before it is gone forever (unless Showtime picks it up)

Sounds like good justification. I really like the colors in this sock by the way.
Hope your hands feel better soon.

The sock look great! I hope your hand heals soon and that you get back into the swing of things with karate.

Love the colour of that sock! Oh satellite...my best friend. You can knit forever watching it...and of course, it is the cause of my knitters arse!

Those are my colors! Satelite is good. Now you can watch more movies while knitting. You can schedule movies so that you must sit and knit. You should really protect those hands during karate. It is vital that you not have any accidents that could interfere with your knitting. I mean really!

I hear you about the exercise...we went back to getting up early and throwing in a video so there are no excuses later in the day and most importantly...no interference in knit time! Love the colors in the sock! Like the little engine that could...you can do it! You can do it!
