Does Money Grow On Trees?
Because it's either that or I've completely lost my mind as well as all will power I may have ever possessed. This is what I bought today. If you have a heart condition, don't look - seriously.

What, you can't really see all of it? Well I'm here to oblige.

Yes, 2 pairs of shoes - both Clarks, both extremely comfortable.
And doesn't the blue pair look lovely with the Zip Cardi?

A new outfit for work. It was very reasonably priced, and you should be proud of me that I chose not to buy the extremely expensive suit I liked (it was ridiculous, trust me).

Really, what shopping trip is complete without a stop at the make-up counter. I think I exercised restraint in just purchasing the few items I did because I really like make-up and can be a bit impulsive when it comes to these things.
Books!!!

A new laundry basket (which I justified by telling myself I needed one, but I probably didn't need this one, but it's pretty).

Some supplies from the yarn store (such that it is)

More red dishes to add to my growing collection:

And just so you don't think I'm a completely selfish jerk, I bought a couple of things for my soon-to-be-sister-in-law.

The 4 wine glasses she was registered for and a really cute yellow, orange, and red vintage-style apron.
I also picked up a couple of goodies for my secret pal, but I can't show you what - it might ruin the surprise.
So, all in all it was about 12 hours of shopping. My mother-in-law has a pretty pink dress, cute shoes and jewelry to match, new make-up and finger nail polish. We're set. We also both got our shower gift shopping done and I got my shopping fix for a couple of months. I'm exhausted, so I'll have to tell you all about seaming on the Zip Cardi tomorrow, but it is going better. Have a great night and a wonderful weekend.

Ooooooh, 12 hours of shopping sounds exhausting but very fun!! My favorites are the cute blue shoes and the laundry basket. At first I thought it was a knitting basket (and I thought, wow, she could put a lot of yarn in that!).
I hope the seaming is going well. That sweater is going to be beautiful when it's all put together! Have a great weekend.

Wow, cool stuff! I love all of it, way to go! I tried on those blue Clarks last weekend, but my high arches prevented purchasing :(. Otherwise, they'd be ALL MINE.

I think I have that same basket, and it is filled with yarn! :)
Is it from Pier 1?

It looks like you had lots of fun shopping! I'm in the midst of unpacking and getting ready for the wedding. We'll have to try to get together in August. Also, I love the new blog.

Great stuff! Oh my goodness though I bought the exact same foundation brush. Well it looks like it's a foundation brush but I can't tell for sure from your picture.
Love the shoes, they go great with the Cardi.
