What Do You See?

I am making progress on my sock and thought I ought to compare it with sock #1.  When I did, this is what I saw:

Yes, indeed, sock #1 is larger than sock #2.  There are the same number of stitches, but my sloppy, loose knitting during the construction of sock #1 made that much difference in size.  I am not ripping sock #1 out, but figure that no one will ever know, but I found it fascinating that my knitting had gotten so out of control.  At least I'm back on track and am more conscious of my technique at this point.
